Bema Polytech Buys Second W&H Press
- Published: September 01, 2010
LINCOLN, RI | Windmoeller & Hoelscher Corp. has sold a 52-in. eight-color Miraflex AM flexo press to Bema Polytech, Elmhurst, IL. The vertically integrated company offers prepress services, flexo printing, adhesive lamination, and slitting, as well as bag- and pouchmaking.
The new press is capable of printing speeds to 1,200 fpm and is equipped with Easy-Set for automatic impression setting, Easy-Reg for registration, and Turboclean automatic ink supply and washup system said to complete ink changes on all decks in less than 5 min.
Glen Galloway, president, says, “We're busier than ever and found that we needed to replace an older press and expand our capacity. Most of our jobs are small to medium-sized and require high print quality. It's critical to get jobs in and out quickly and efficiently, which is why we chose the Miraflex AM. Once it arrives, we'll only have W&H presses running on the floor.”
