Chiller Line Expands

Line of Iceman portable chillers has been expanded with a unit that offers from ¼ ton to 40 tons of cooling capacity in both air- and water-cooled designs. Chillers meet process cooling requirements to 5 deg F. Tandem compressor arrangement provides a flexible and energy-efficient design solution to process cooling requirements, company says, and design offers users the option to run the chiller at 50% if loads do not require the full 40 tons of cooling. Carel uC² microprocessor-based controller is designed for chiller applications and provides compressor anti-cycling and lead lag.
