Blade Exchanger Cuts Setup Times

Razor blades are changed automatically and safely in razor blade exchanger. Exchanger is attached to the positioning carriage of the cutter adjustment and moves together with it. Company says automatic changeover process reduces setup times and increases productivity; changing blunt razor blades as a precautionary measure avoids poor roll quality; and a controlled service life increases the optimum utilization of the razor blades.
