GPA Launches Papers for Dry Toner Market

CHICAGO, IL GPA, supplier of substrate solutions for digital, wide format, and offset printing, announces its latest solution for the dry toner market: Ultra Print Coated Papers for Xerox iGen presses. Company says papers will enable print shops with iGen presses to become more responsive and productive.

Precision-cut to 14.33 x 26 in., these sheets allow print service providers to maximize the capabilities of their iGen presses by taking advantage of the full print area. Because they are already cut to size, there is no risk of paper dust or mis-cut edges, helping users to save time, experience less feeding and printing issues, operate more efficiently, and ultimately better serve their customers’ needs, according to company. As added bonuses, the paper surface is said to be exceptionally uniform to provide superior ink adhesion and image resolution for stunning image quality, and because they are FSC certified, they provide the peace of mind that comes from knowing they are made from responsible sources.

The company currently offers Ultra Print Coated Papers for Xerox iGen Presses in a variety of text and cover weights in two different finishes: Coated Text: Gloss or Satin in 80# and 100# Coated Cover: Gloss or Satin in 80#, 100#, and 110#.

These papers are compatible with a wide range of finishing processes including laminating, UV coating, scoring, folding, die-cutting, and gluing. They are said to be well suited for a wide range of uses, including invitations, postcards, business cards, greeting cards, and more.

“GPA’s latest addition to our line of quality papers is all about supporting our customers with Xerox equipment,” says Craig Surette, GPA’s Business Development Director for the Dry Toner Market. “iGen customers are increasing their market share by utilizing the press’s full 26-inch capability, and these sheets are helping them drive growth. It simply comes down to providing the right sheets in the right markets with on-demand availability. That’s what we’ve done with this program, and it’s enabling our iGen customers to be more nimble, efficient, and profitable.”
