The HP-Certified Indigo Treatment Center, Masterpiece Graphix, has launched the MGX Dry Edge Semigloss. This latest offering features an adhesive-free edge designed to eliminate the ooze build-up that commonly plagues vacuum boxes and causes unnecessary maintenance and shut-down of production to clean the press. MGX Dry Edge Semigloss is available for only pennies more than non-dry edge semigloss, reports the company.

The introduction of this product reportedly allows Indigo users to appreciate the dry edge of the paper that provides clean running on the press. No more shutting down to clean the vacuum box, nips, and rollers. Press maintenance and downtime will decrease, efficiency will increase, and the production team will be able to stay focused on printing, reports the company.
