Mountable on a machine frame, the unit removes condensate or oligomer from the designated process roll by engaging a nonabrasive fabric with the surface of the process roll. The fabric advances periodically at a controlled rate and frequency. The operating sequence continuously brings clean, absorbent fabric into contact with the process roll while meeting specific process operating conditions. Reduces waste and downtime associated with manually cleaning rolls. Suitable for casting, calendar, chill, and laminating rolls.
