New Tray Erector Has Dual Functionality

HARTFORD, CT | Matik Inc. announces the introduction in North America of Spain-based Boix Maquinaria’s combination tray erector capable of making three-piece Bliss-style, P-84-style, and Platform-style boxes on the same machine, reportedly requiring only a simple and inexpensive tooling change. Dubbed the “Dual” machine, the new model incorporates the robust features of Boix equipment, including the ability to switch the machine quickly and economically from Bliss three-pc boxes to common footprint one-pc open-top trays at speeds to 2,100/hr. Combination hot melt and cold glue are optional.
