APPLETON, WI | Appleton Mfg Div.’s P510 Programmable Core Cutter offers automated core feeding and advanced programmable control for enhanced cut-to-length performance and integrated automation options. Innovative design reportedly allows operators the flexibility to produce any quantity of precision cores cut to multiple lengths in a single run or one custom length. Automated core feeding application is a servo-driven ball-screw drive that quickly advances the core with control as dictated by the controller. Eliminates manual core loading onto the cutter to save time and reduce the cost of labor. Features a programmable logic control (PLC) with touch screen display for flexibility and optimization of core materials. The PLC reportedly eliminates guess work for a cost-effective solution while allowing storage of cut sets for future use.
