Utah Paperbox Names New President

SALT LAKE CITY, UT | Utah Paperbox (UPB) names Steve Keyser president to become the fourth generation to lead the 95-yr-old company.

“My goal is to ensure that UPB becomes a fifth generation carton maker,” Keyser said. “We have a great team in place, and I’m excited to help them shape a successful, innovative future at UPB.”

Steve has three daughters and hopes one day that one of them will become the fifth generation to join UPB. Prior to becoming UPB’s VP of sales in 1998, Steve spent five years with a division of International Paper (LaBoiteaux Co.) and five years with Independent Paperboard Marketing when the company started up its California office. Outgoing president Paul Keyser remains active in the business as UPB’s chairman of the board.

Utah Paperbox is a board converter, manufacturing folding cartons and rigid boxes, and it also specializes in litho lamination.
