Cryovac Deli Package Wins AmeriStar Award

DUNCAN, SC | Sealed Air’s Cryovac Multi-Seal package will be honored with a 2008-2009 AmeriStar Award from the Inst. of Packaging Professionals during the Packaging Summit ’09 on May 19 in Rosemont, IL. The Multi-Seal package for sliced meats and cheeses can be easily and reliably opened and resealed numerous times over the life of the product.

The package uses less material because it does not require a zipper or tear-notch feature. While consumers will enjoy the ease with which they can open and reseal the Multi-Seal package, processors will appreciate that they do not need to invest in new equipment as the package runs on existing thermoforming equipment.
