NDC Celebrates Five Years in Japan

IRWINDALE, CA | NDC is celebrating the fifth anniversary of the opening of its direct sales and service office in Tokyo, Japan. The Japan office, which offers NDC’s range of sensor, scanner, and display systems, has seen strong growth in the extrusion, converting, nonwovens, and paper industries as well as in foods, pharmaceuticals, and industrial processes.

Hiroo Aiba, manager of NDC Japan, says, “Though we were very optimistic at the beginning, we knew as a startup we would be facing challenges. Thanks to the fact NDC has a worldwide operation with many installations in prominent companies, we were given good opportunities to demonstrate the benefits of our products. We are proud of the success we have had in five short years, with a tripling of annual sales of NDC products within Japan during that time.”
