FITCHBURG, MA | A new Bobst SPeria 106-E Autoplaten Diecutter was installed recently at Seaboard Folding Box. The SPeria’s speed, quick set-up capabilities, and reliability made it possible for Seaboard to replace three older Bobst 1260 die-cutters, the company reports.
The SPeria 106-E has inline stripping capabilities and can die-cut and emboss at speeds up to 7,700 sph. It can die-cut paper with a minimum thickness of .004-in., solid board up to .060-in. thick, and corrugated board up to .160-in. It is equipped with an in-line stripping section that eliminates manual stripping.
The SPeria 106-E also allows Seaboard to take advantage of the latest Bobst die-cutting features and technology to reduce turn-around time and enhance finished product quality.
Seaboard’s business is concentrated in the New England/New York area, but its customer base extends from Canada to Florida and reaches into the Midwest. Visit: www.bobstgroup.com.
