Rock Tenn Earns Recycling Certification

NORCROSS, GA | The Folding Carton Div. of Rock-Tenn Co. has achieved Fiber Sourcing Certification to the Sustainable Forest Initiative (SFI) Standard, reportedly becoming the largest folding carton company in North America to do so.

The Folding Carton Div. offers packaging that has been produced from recycled and SFI certified virgin paperboard that is sourced both internally and externally.

“At a time when just 10 percent of the world’s forests are independently certified, Rock-Tenn has taken a leadership role by supporting global efforts to improve forest practices,” says SFI president and CEO Kathy Abusow.
