Label Materials Prevent Fraud

ST. PAUL, MN | 3M introduces Tamper-Evident Label Materials in permanent and non-permanent markings. New 76901 uses permanent adhesive performance that will leave behind a permanent purple “stop” image if removal is attempted. New 76903 uses non-permanent adhesives that leave the substrate clean while fracturing the “stop” image in the removed label.
Once removed, either label material exhibits the “stop” image, which prevents re-application of the label to its original state. Both help prevent fraud, counterfeiting, and theft, and help alert users to unwanted access, opening, or tampering.
