Coldpack Certified for ISO 9001:2008 Compliance

SAN DIEGO, CA | Coldpack, an innovative insulated packaging solutions leader, announced it has received the ISO 9001:2008 certification from the International Organization for Standardization (ISO).

Coldpack is an innovative insulated packaging company, which provides cold chain solutions for the shipping of temperature-sensitive products worldwide. Its primary product, AirLiner is an inflatable, insulating liner that easily converts a corrugated box into a cooler. Claimed a smarter packaging solution than traditional foam products, AirLiner enables shippers of expedited perishables to protect the temperature, improving the presentation and extending the quality of their brands—all while reducing supply chain costs as well as the carbon footprint of businesses that choose the product. The technology, which was developed under a US Dept. of Energy grant at a U.C. Lawrence Berkeley lab, has won numerous industry awards including the Flexible Packaging Assn.’s (FPA) Achievement Award, and the FPA Innovation Showcase’s Highest Achievement Award, Technical Innovation Gold Award and Environmental Achievement Gold Award.
