DUSSELDORF, GERMANY| K 2010, 18th International Trade Fair Plastics and Rubber, will feature the special presentation “Visions in Polymers,” complementing the exhibitors' products on display. K 2010 will be held from October 27-November 3, 2010, at the fairgrounds in Düsseldorf, Germany.
Organized by Messe Düsseldorf and the German plastics industry, and spearheaded by PlasticsEurope Deutschland e.V., this special exhibit will present future-oriented aspects, including: What will everyday life be like in 20 years? What contribution can plastics make to solve essential problems? Which potential applications that are considered visionary today will already have been introduced in two decades? The exhibition will also feature development trends and innovations in the industry. Energy efficiency and resource conservation will be key themes of this special presentation.
In addition to setting the topic for the special presentation, the K 2010 exhibitor council also recently has determined the new slogan for the show: "It's K time." K 2010 will present the world's leading suppliers of plastics and rubber machinery, raw materails and auxiliaries, as well as semi-finished products, technical parts, and reinforced plastics. Exhibitor applications for the event will be sent at the beginning of 2009, and the registration deadline will be May 31, 2009. Messe Düsseldorf again expects a huge response.
