National Adhesives to Feature High Productivity Products at CMM

BRIDGEWATER, NJ, USA—National Adhesives, a unit of National Starch & Chemical, reports it will feature specialty "high productivity" adhesives at the upcoming CMM show in April. According to the company, it will showcase its full range of industrial pressure-sensitive adhesives and laminating adhesives, including those that can foamed, at the Converting Machinery/Materials event, slated for April 14 - 17, 2003, McCormick Place, Chicago, IL, USA.

Among the adhesives for transfer-tape applications to be showcased:

  • DURO-TAK 80-115A—the new patented hybrid acrylic product
  • DURO-TAK 3000 and 4000 product lines (for ultraviolet curing and hot melt adhesives)
Also to be featured at the bi-annual event: National Adhesives's AEROBOND adhesive-bonding process "that improves quality while lowering consumption. Because micron-sized bubbles help to carry the adhesive onto the corrugated or other substrate, less water enters the substrate. This minimizes warpage as well as reduces adhesive use," reports the mfr.

The company's DURO-FLEX flexible laminating adhesives for packaging and industrial applications include solvent-free, water-borne, and solvent-borne adhesive types for a wide variety of end uses and peformance levels. Visit National Starch at nationalstarch.com.
