Strong Interest in K 2025

Exhibit space at K 2025 is in high demand from all over the world. With the motto “The Power of Plastics! Green – Smart – Responsible”, the upcoming K trade fair will focus on the industry’s most important fields of action: Circular Economy, Digitalization and Social Responsibility.

K 2025 will follow the successful 2022 event. After the official registration deadline in late May, it is evident that renowned companies from the international plastics and rubber industry will take part October 8-15, 2025 in Düsseldorf, Germany. Demand for stand space is high and all 18 halls of Düsseldorf Exhibition Centre and the outdoor premises will once again be fully booked.

“K 2025 will provide the complete overview of a plastics industry undergoing transformation and again have a plethora of impressive innovations in store. We know that many of our exhibitors are already preparing their product innovations and presentations at full speed. Düsseldorf will once again provide forward-looking impetus for the entire plastics and rubber industry, noted Erhard Wienkamp, Managing Director of Messe Düsseldorf.

More than 3,000 exhibitors will participate in K 2025 and present the global trade visitors their ranges from the areas of

  • Raw materials, auxiliaries;
  • Semi-finished products, technical components and reinforced plastic parts; and
  • Machinery and equipment for the plastics and rubber industry.

Especially well represented again will be the suppliers from Germany, Italy, Turkey, Austria, Switzerland and the U.S. while the number of producers from China, India and Taiwan has increased once again.

“The Power of Plastics! Green – Smart – Responsible.” is the slogan of K 2025, which is complemented by three core messages “Shaping the Circular Economy”, “Embracing Digitalization” and “Caring about People”. This puts the focus on the three most important fields of action in the sector: Circular economy, digitalization and people. The latter includes corporate social responsibility as well as future career perspectives for young professionals in the plastics and rubber sectors.

K is a trend barometer and innovation forum for the global industry. Every three years, the latest developments debut here, innovative and pioneering technologies are presented and international networks established. The exhibitors’ ranges at their stands will be complemented by K’s special program.

The special show organized by Plastics Europe Deutschland, will also reflect the three focal themes of K 2025. At the Science Campus, the latest activities and results of university and science organizations will be presented again – this is where research and business are interlinked. Organized by the Plastics and Rubber Machinery Association within the German Machinery and Equipment Manufacturers’ Association (VDMA), a large Circular Economy Forum is planned in the outdoor area where exhibitors will demonstrate the pivotal importance of technology for implementing the circular economy in the plastics industry.

The re-designed Rubberstreet under the auspices of the wdk e.V. (Trade Association of the German Rubber Industry) in Hall 6 will focus on the topic of rubber. Here, exhibitors will showcase the innovative operational excellence of rubber and thermoplastic elastomers.
