BOBST to Exhibit at EXPOGRÁFICA 2019

BOBST is planning to feature some of its most efficient solutions for boosting productivity at EXPOGRÁFICA 2019, taking place in Mexico City on March 5–8. Aware that packaging manufacturers are having to demonstrate increasingly higher productivity, while maintaining quality and reducing cost and waste, BOBST will showcase two of its machines that can support in these areas which include:

NOVACUT 106 ER - a cost-effective die-cutter with an in-line blank separation to deliver piles of blanks straight to the folder-gluer. NOVACUT 106 ER reportedly reduces work in progress and cuts costs. The die-cutter also improves both quality and productivity throughout the entire carton conversion operation. Attendees will be able to see first-hand the advanced HMI SPHERE with its convenient and intuitive navigation for operators. Associated with the recipe management option, user can easily store and recall settings, which allows costs and waste reduction.

LILA II 145 - a folder-gluer designed with the needs of both litho-laminated and corrugated board packaging manufacturers in mind, providing complete control during the folding process. Its features, such as advanced feeding, accurate prebreaking and fishtailing reduction ensure outstanding productivity and excellent finished product quality. Importantly, with its different box capabilities and quick setting times, LILA II 145 provides the versatility and flexibility needed to meet client requirements.

“We are consistently hearing the same things from manufacturers, in terms of the challenges faced by their customers in reducing cost and waste, and what they need from us to be able to respond to that,” said Carlos Gutierrez, zone business director of Latin America North at BOBST. “The BOBST solutions on display at EXPOGRÁFICA are just two examples of BOBST solutions that help manufacturers to increase productivity whilst maintaining quality and saving on costs. We look forward to welcoming manufacturers to the BOBST stand (1013) and discussing their specific needs with them.”

Finally, BOBST equipment service packages will also be represented on the stand to show customers how they can help to boost productivity and profitability. BOBST plans to demonstrate its integrated services portfolio – including innovative connected services that provide customers with instant remote expert advice – and will show how its monitoring apps can help customers to obtain a full overview of their machine operations.
