Labelexpo Europe: Nilpeter to Showcase Solutions

SLAGELSE, DENMARK—Nilpeter says it will "adopt a solution-oriented theme" for the upcoming Labelexpo show. Exhibiting in hall 7, at stand 7L 60/7L 90 under the banner of "Total Performance... A Perfect Solution, Nilpeter reports it will introduce four new narrow web presses, each featuring servo drivers for greater efficiency. "As in 2001," says the press mfr., "Nilpeter will occupy a total stand space of 700 square meters, making [us] one of the largest exhibitors at the four-day Labelexpo show."

Nilpeter says it will release details about the new presses closer to the event, however, the company does say now it will display "a new printing principle," and reports, "It represents a major breakthrough in gravure printing technology, based on new-developed, non-physical curing gravure inks."

In addition, says Nilpeter, it will introduce a new type of rotary screen unit for its FA-3300 UV flexo press. "Besides being fully interchangeable at all print stations, the unit costs roughly one-third the price of conventional screen units," says the co.
