Webex Will Introduce Seamless Vacuum Roll

NEENAH, WI | Webex, a Maxcess company, will introduce a new seamless vacuum roll designed for thin film, coated substrates, and optical surfaces at ChinaPlas 2014, April 23–26 in Shanghai.

The new vacuum roll design incorporates a smooth, ultra-fine, seamless, nickel screen said to provide consistent grip across the entire width of the web, without damaging even the most delicate coated materials.

Company says its vacuum rolls provide the ideal tension isolation and control point ahead of flotation ovens and can be used at any other location where a nip or contact with both sides of the web is not possible or desired.
