Domino to Demonstrate Digital Ink Jet at Show

CAMBRIDGE, UK | Domino reports it will feature two examples of the company’s digital ink jet solutions at the upcoming Ipex 2014.

The K600i single-color, high-resolution digital ink jet printer has been designed to
integrate variable data printing within existing sheet- and web-fed presses and finishing lines or can be delivered as a standalone digital press. It produces 600-dpi, high-resolution, UV-curable print at speeds from 50–150 mpm (492 fpm).

The Bitjet+ v4.5 high-speed digital print system can be integrated onto high-speed webs, folder/gluers, plastic card, bindery, packaging, and wrapping lines. Capable of production speeds to 800 mpm (2,600 fpm), it is said to be well suited for adding personalization, numbering, 2D and linear barcodes, and graphics onto all media types with no requirement for drying equipment or line modifications.

Ipex 2014 takes place March 24–29 at the ExCel Exhibition and Convention Centre, London, England.
