BETHESDA, MD | RadTech, the nonprofit trade association for high-tech ultraviolet (UV) and electron beam (EB) processes, is accepting nominations for its new Sustainability Achievement Awards.
Doreen M. Monteleone, Ph.D., RadTech’s director of Sustainability & EHS Initiatives, says, "Today, sustainability is on the minds of everyone. Through this new awards program, applicants will be highlighting the many sustainability advantages of UV/EB technology. RadTech is looking forward to celebrating those accomplishments."
Award winners will offer real-world descriptions of how UV/EB technology improves the sustainability of manufactures including reductions in emissions, hazardous chemicals, water, energy, and transportation; improved safety and health benefits; and better return on investment.
Winners will be honored at the biennial RadTech UV/EB Technology Expo & Conference 2014, May 12–14, Hyatt Regency O’Hare, Rosemont/Chicago, IL.
