Flint Group Announces Print Awards

BRUSSELS, BELGIUM | During Labelexpo Europe in September 2009, Flint Group Narrow Web, Trelleborg, Sweden, announced the winners of its fifth annual Narrow Web Print Awards. Nearly 100 entries from label converters worldwide were evaluated by a panel of judges. Criteria included registration, smoothness of dot/vignette, overall print quality, and degree of difficulty. The winning label in the category of UV flexo paper, “El Paso Merlot” submitted by Alaska Poligrafoformceinie in Russia, exhibited true excellence in print, design, and execution, according to the judges. The same company won in the UV shrink category.
