Berkeley Machinery Introduces Flexo Press

KENT, UK | Berkeley Machinery announces the new Apollo 530Z ten-color flexo press for label and package printing. 

Infeed unit to control length and accurate feeding of variable materials reportedly allows for a range of materials from 20–350 microns. Design of the print unit allows for variation of different print materials to run through the print units without exerting pressure on the drive gears. This is said to alleviate any possible mechanical pressure through the print units to avoid bar or gear marks.

Company says an independent electronic register/auto tension control system gives infinite control of the tension and allows the print units to produce excellent print quality. Electronic web guide with electronic sensing adjusts material accurately through print units, press, and converting process stations.
