PaperCon Agenda Includes Efficiency

NORCROSS, GA | John D. Williams, president and CEO of Domtar Corp., will be the keynote speaker at PaperCon 2011, scheduled for May 1-4 at the Northern Kentucky Convention Ctr. in Covington, KY, near Cincinnati. The theme of the conference is “Rethink Paper: Lean and Green,” highlighting new ways to improve efficiency; use less water, fiber, and air; and achieve operational excellence.

Williams will speak on May 1 about the business approach and the integral role sustainability plays in the activities of Domtar, an integrated manufacturer and marketer of uncoated freesheet paper.

Organized by TAPPI and PIMA, PaperCon includes three tracks: PIMA Management, Papermaking, and Coating. New for 2011 will be forums on tissue making, sustainability, and maintenance.
