Miami Beach, Fl | Technology, networking, and education brought thousands of graphic communications professionals together for the annual Graphics of the Americas (GOA) Exposition and Conference held February 23-24. Attendees from the US, Latin America, the Caribbean, and Europe came to do business with more than 400 exhibiting vendors.
Highlights included humorist Dave Barry, who entertained audiences at the keynote session with his unique perspectives on life, and the Brand Protection Conference, where Robert C. Tapella, the Public Printer of the US, discussed his agency's efforts to establish secure documents, both digitally and in print.
Frank Romano of RIT delivered a compelling session titled “TrendVision: Future of Print.” He also led an Inkjet Printing Symposia.
In 2010, GOA will celebrate its 35th year during the event's February 25-27 gathering in Miami Beach. For more information visit www.graphicsoftheamericas.com.
