Thomas E. Gestrich has been named senior VP of consumer packaging for International Paper, Memphis, TN.

Hosokawa Alpine American, Natick, MA, has installed its 500th complete blown film extrusion system, bringing the total capacity of Alpine installations to more than 1.5 billion lb of film, reportedly 10% of the total North American film market.

PMD Group, Cleveland, OH, formerly BF Goodrich Performance Materials segment, has changed its name to Noveon Inc.

Parkinson Technologies, Woonsocket, RI, appointed William Abbott operations manager.

Roosevelt Paper Co., Mt. Laurel, NJ, added Marty Lippert to its outside sales staff at its Chicago div. headquarters in Forest Park, IL. The company also welcomed David Dykes as outside sales staff at its Richwood, KY, facility.

Inland Paperboard and Packaging, Indianapolis, IN, has a new name and logo for corrugated packaging operations acquired from Chesapeake Corp. InPeake Packaging is the new division name for all locations previously known as Chesapeake Packaging Co. and Capitol Packaging Corp.

Great Northern Corp., Appleton, WI, promoted Jeff Michels to VP of operations for its Racine, WI, location. Jamie Thorne has joined Laminations, part of Great Northern's specialty group, as a customer service rep.
