Salvage system removes, doctors roll stock

The jumbo roll-salvage system is designed for visually inspecting, removing and doctoring printed roll stock of all kinds. The system will process 50-in. diameter x 20-in. rolls of paper, film or foil and operate at speeds up to 2,000 fpm. The system utilizes two regenerative dc drives coupled to a dancer system and computerized control for positive web control at all speeds on a range of substrates. It incorporates a dual-direction electronic web guide, pneumatically operated splice table, constant or taper tension, fully articulated operator control for ease of operation and integral lift table assemblies at each end of the system.
