Inkjet Printer for Secondary Packaging

The 2330 and 2310 large-character inkjet printers are for online printing on secondary packaging such as corrugated boxes and cases. Printers are said to provide perfect, repeatable, high quality characters as large as 2.75 in. and 0.66 in., respectively. Patented automatic self-cleaning and self-maintenance system keeps printheads free of dust and debris throughout production.

Inking Unit Uses Expanded

Anicolor technology, a zoneless short inking unit with dampening system, is said to make very short runs profitable using a standardized offset workflow. Process is designed to deliver fast makeready times and color consistency with minimal waste sheets. Extended stock range option now allows for a wider range of applications. Printers have the ability to print up to 24-pt board with this option.

Folder/Gluer in Three Models

The Pyrena high-speed folder/gluer from Inramik comes in three models, with widths of 37, 45, and 53 in. Offers semi-automatic job parameter storage system for quick changeovers and high-speed production to 1,650 fpm for straight line, crash lock bottom, four- and six-corner boxes. Design is modular.
