If you're in the market for a custom slitter, read on. We'll tell you who they are, where they are, and what they do.
It can be among the most basic of all converting processes: slitting large rolls of basestock into two or more smaller rolls. Yet, dozens of companies make millions of dollars each year offering custom slitting services to the converting marketplace. Companies participating in this niche market are as diverse as the converting industry itself, ranging from small operations with just two employees and several hundred thousand dollars in annual business to some that employ thousands and generate up to $100 million in revenue.
Paper, Film & Foil CONVERTER recently conducted a survey of this unique segment of the industry and compiled a cross section of companies that offer custom slitting services. All information was supplied by the companies themselves and should be used only as a helpful guide to meeting your custom slitting needs.
