Options, sensor designed for web inspection

The company offers the Supervision Plus package of video web-inspection options that include high resolution, a three-chip camera and a TSI-01 hand-held, color, touch-screen control system. They also offer the SE-24 ultrasonic sensor that is designed to guide the clearest and thinnest films and most opaque webs. It's temperature stabilized and has a standard gap of 1.4 in. and can be used for single edge or center guiding. The control range is .4 in. Because it's not affected by optical variations or ambient light, different sensors aren't needed. Ultrasonic waves are deflected away and absorbed by the web material, regardless of opacity. The sound waves that pass the edge of the web are detected by the receiver which accurately defines the edge of the web.
