Bakers Meets Demand for Larger Labels

WALTHAMSTOW, UK | Bakers Self Adhesive Labels has purchased a Digicon Series 2 label converting line from AB Graphic Intl. The system will be used to convert digitally printed labels and complements an existing HP WS6000 press.
Steve Baker, managing director, says, “Our trade customers will now benefit from being able to offer extended-length digitally printed labels with extra decorative options, such as hot foiling, rotary embossing, and other features, while maintaining reasonable profit levels. The investment will also provide the opportunity for trade customers to enter new market segments, such as digitally printed labels for paint cans, large tubs, wrap labels, and larger sheet designs.”
