A green-themed 2008 calendar earns Diamond Packaging, Rochester, NY, two Bronze Leaf Awards from the Foil Stamping & Embossing Assn. Diamond minimized paperboard and energy use by reducing the calendar weight, yet still retained the three-month design. A backer panel was eliminated by printing one of the months on an insert that is placed in the 3D header. The overall presentation imparts unusual depth and distinction through innovative structural design, material selection, spot coating, foil stamping, and multilevel embossing.
