Spartech PETG Products Certified for Recycled Content

ST. LOUIS, MO | Spartech Corp., a producer of plastic sheet, compounds, and packaging products, reports its Ultros Renu, PETG Ultros Renu 90 and Royalite G50 products received certification from Scientific Certification Systems (SCS), a global leader in independent certification and verification of environmental, sustainability, stewardship, food quality, food safety, and food purity claims.
The three products all received the same certification, denoting they conform to SCS's Recycled Content Standard V4-1, utilizing at least 50% pre-consumer, recycled content. The products are primarily used in the building and construction markets. The SCS certifications allow architects, designers, and other end-users the opportunity to earn credits toward the LEED Green Building Rating System of the U.S. Green Building Council.
