Inspirational Packaging Awards Are Open for Entries

JAÉN, SPAIN | Derprosa is requesting entries for the first Inspirational Packaging Awards 2014 (IPA), part of the Packaging Innovations fair for branded packaging to be held in Madrid November 5 and 6. Also sponsoring the awards is Veredictas International, the standards of excellence company with expertise in 15 countries. 

Reportedly, the awards will celebrate the best in design and innovation in the international packaging and POS market, recognizing and rewarding the most innovative products in the packaging industry. Entries are invited from product brands, designers, and packaging manufacturers across the world, with no restriction on where a piece is made, designed, or developed. Packages must be products launched in 2013 and 2014.

With 16 categories available to enter, the short list will be decided by a panel of industry experts with packaging expertise and representatives of professional associations from different countries. Entries will be judged on functionality, graphic design, new materials, shape, usability, and overall innovation.
