Elastomer Aids Laminations

Adding Vistamaxx propylene-based elastomers to the extrudate when laminating unprimed BOPP film (clear and printed) is said to increase adhesion significantly compared to LDPE using a primer. Improved adhesion to unprimed OPET (clear and printed) and metallized films also is possible. Can eliminate use of primers that are sometimes required when laminating a reverse-printed BOPP or OPET film after ink application to simplify processing and reduce cost.
