Davis-Standard to Show Capabilities at Labelexpo

PAWCATUCK, CT | Davis-Standard will display a new curtain slide coater at the upcoming Labelexpo Americas 2014, September 9–11, at the Donald E. Stephens Convention Center in Rosemont, IL. The coater applies a single layer coating at up to 2,800 fpm with expansion capabilities up to two additional layers. 
Also on display will be a new five-roll silicone coater capable of applying 100% silicone at 2,400 fpm. This coater is constructed of stainless steel for ease of cleanup and includes what is said to be a state-of-the-art mist removal system.
Another focus of the exhibit will be the dsX flex-pack extrusion coating line. This pre-configured line is said to provide high end-product quality, greater uptime and productivity, reduced waste and production costs, and application versatility. Features an adaptable machine configuration.
