PPC Members Distribute Saplings

SPRINGFIELD, MA | Coinciding with the celebration of Earth Day in April, 18 member companies of the Paperboard Packaging Council (PPC) distributed more than 8,400 saplings to students and employees through TICCIT (Trees Into Cartons, Cartons Into Trees). Sponsored by the PPC, TICCIT is a national education program that promotes planting trees in recycled cartons as a way to highlight the importance of recycling and the sustainable nature of paper-based packaging.
President Ben Markens says, “We are incredibly pleased that so many PPC members participated in the TICCIT program.”
