American Forest & Paper Assn., Washington, DC, reports total kraft paper shipments in December 2010 were 126,900 tons, an increase of 1.3% compared to December 2009. Total year-end shipments rose 10.2% over 2010. Total boxboard production in December 2010 increased by 7.3% compared to December 2009. Year-end production was up 3.7% over 2009. Total containerboard production for December 2010 increased 40,300 tons or 1.5% compared to December 2009. Year-end production increased 7.1% over 2009.
