This compostable produce pack consists of three materials that together create an alternative to traditional fresh produce packaging. The tray, manufactured by Earthcycle Packaging Ltd., Vancouver, BC, Canada, is made from palm fiber, a renewable resource, which would otherwise be a waste product. The trays are overwrapped with Natureflex NVS film from Innovia Films, Atlanta, GA, which is sourced from renewable resources, and the label also is certified home compostable.
