Pasaban Supplies Machinery to Iggesund

TOLOSA, SPAIN | Pasaban, a designer and manufacturer of high-tech and precision machinery for the paper and cardboard, special paper, and security paper converting industry, reports it has supplied two KB-2300 board sheeters to Iggesund. At its Workington, UK, plant Iggesund produces Incada folding box board, used for packaging in sectors with high quality requirements, such as the food, cosmetics, electronics and the pharmaceutical. 

In the Workington Mill, Iggesund already has a Pasaban KDD-2600 board sheeter which, together with an older Jagenberg and a Pasaban board winder, have been some of the key machines in the paperboard finishing area. However, the company is currently immersed in a machinery renewal process for which it has once again turned to Pasaban. The older equipment will be replaced with the two KB-2300 sheeters with highly automated rotary unwind stands able to process folding box board (FBB) of 170 to 400 gsm.
