Neenah Expands Folding Board Portfolio

ALPHARETTA, GA | Neenah Packaging reports another expansion to its Folding Board portfolio—a broad range of papers designed for use in a variety of premium packaging applications including boxes, hangtags, gift card carriers, and luxe folders. The line which now features 58 items including 24 new colors, 13 new finishes, and 3 new digital-ready items, is showcased in the new Neenah Folding Board swatch book.

This expanded offering follows on the heels of the company’s recent acquisition of FiberMark. “This new line represents the coming together of these two businesses, now with the ability to offer both coated and uncoated options, in eye-catching new finishes and trending colors,” says Diane L Marchionna, brand manager, Neenah Packaging.

The enhanced lineup includes what is said to be a luxurious palette of richly charged iridescent materials in jewel-tone hues, striking metallics with distinctive embossing patterns, and elegantly understated matte finishes ideally suited for high-end packaging.

“In reality, customers are often looking for something other than what they find in swatchbooks, and that’s one of the great values that [we] provide…we can reproduce virtually any color, any texture, in any size or weight. Our standard line is simply a starting point for customers. Ultimately, our goal is to help brands create their own unique packaging solutions,” says Marchionna.

Neenah Packaging also announces a new Sheeter Roll Program. This service affords customers quick turnarounds for special sheet sizes of the company’s four most popular 18-p. premium vellum folding boards including Bright White, 100 PC White, Kraft, and Deep Black, each available for shipment four days after receipt of order, at a minimum order quantity of 2,000#.
