Nilpeter Demonstrates Box Solution at GOA

SLAGELSE, DENMARK | Nilpeter demonstrated the FB-3300S smart inline box solution at the recent Graphics of the Americas 2014 (GOA) in Miami. The press provides roll-to-finished product in one working process—with front-side printing, substrate turning, reverse-side printing, curing, and die-cutting.

At the show, the FB-3300S produced 220 g carton boxes with four process colors and two spot colors, all flexo. However, the company says the high quality had printers making inquiries about which of the spot colors was flexo, saying the printed samples showed offset quality.

”It has become clear to us that many converters within conventional printing consider GOA a platform for seeking new and more effective printing methods,” says Nilpeter’s global sales manager Jesper Joergensen.

He adds, ”It was very inspiring to meet so many North and South American converters seeking new business opportunities. We gained new insight into the challenges these printers meet on a daily basis, and the knowledge sharing that took place bodes well for the future.”
