Menasha Packaging Acquires Rand Diversified

NEENAH, WI | Menasha Packaging Co. announced today that it has acquired Rand Diversified, Edison, NJ. Both companies are privately held; terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
Menasha Packaging president Mike Waite, says, "The acquisition of Rand Diversified strengthens our geographic coverage with the addition of East Coast fulfillment and contract packaging. Customers continue to value partnerships where Menasha Packaging can manage the entire design through manufacturing through fulfillment process. Adding Rand's expertise will help us respond to this growing demand."
With the acquisition, Menasha Packaging will have 16 fulfillment operations in eight states. "The Rand acquisition," says Jim Kotek, president and CEO of parent company Menasha Corp., "broadens our market penetration and increases our offerings in the areas of contract packaging and fulfillment for over-the-counter pharmaceutical and consumer packaged goods [CPG] companies…."
