Multi-Color Implements Radius Solutions ERP

CHICAGO, IL | Radius Solutions reports that Multi-Color Corp., Cincinnati, OH, is leveraging the PECAS Vision system as a standard business information management platform across all of its operations. This follows Multi-Color's acquisition of NorthStar Print Group, the label-manufacturing subsidiary of Journal Communications.
In order to realize the full potential of its acquisition, it was imperative that Multi-Color integrate the three NorthStar plants, to standardize and gain access to business intelligence.
According to Greg Myers, VP of information technology for Multi-Color, "Prior to the implementation of PECAS Vision in the additional facilities, we had very limited visibility into the NorthStar plants. They were independent, and we never knew if we were comparing apples to apples when we looked at the same metrics. Today we can run standard reports, such as the waste report, for each plant, break things into standard categories, and allow an even comparison of the performance at each facility."
