Aqueous Coating Offers High Resistance

NORTHVALE, NJ | Aqua Based Technologies’ repulpable, water-based coating, Aqualene 3210, is designed to satisfy demanding packaging applications. Recognized by the FDA for use as a microwavable coating, the product produces a smooth, glossy, and durable surface on paper and boards while delivering great flexibility for scoring folds.

Aqualene 3210 reportedly is an excellent grease-, oil-, and water-resistant product as well as lactic and acetic acid resistant, making it ideal for a wide range of paper packaging uses including dry food, dairy, bakery, powder, meat, and frozen foods. Can be employed as an alternative to LDPE in packaging structures due to its barrier properties to penetration. See Aqua Based's web site.
