Enercon Debuts the New Super Seal™ Pro Induction Cap Sealer at Interpack 2023

Enercon’s mission to help packagers Achieve a Perfect Seal by advancing induction cap sealing technology takes another leap forward with the introduction of the New Super Seal™ Pro May 4-10 at interpack 2023 (Hall 5 Stand E23). This new sealer builds upon the reliability and performance levels of its predecessor the Super Seal™ Touch with powerful new features than make induction sealing set-up, operation, and troubleshooting easier than ever.

New Larger Touchscreen Enables More Features

The system features a highly responsive 7” touch screen that provides operators with an intuitive experience. The larger screen enables advanced controls supporting remote, recipe and local operating modes and the addition of maintenance reminders.

Built-in Support for a Stressed Labor Force

We know packagers struggle with consistent staffing so we’ve added features to help both new and experienced operators. Help screens instruct operators how to verify if the conveyor, containers, and sealer are set up properly. Troubleshooting tips with visuals are also provided. And, a QR code links to Enercon’s support website for access to videos, detailed how-to articles, and the opportunity to start a support case if needed.

Integrated Intelligence – Like having an Enercon Engineer Connected to the Sealer with an oscilloscope

The Super Seal Pro™ offers a full complement of detailed fault and event logs, but what’s really special about the system is its integrated intelligence. Should a fault occur the system’s Smart Capture feature records data before, during and after the fault. The data can be downloaded to an integrated USB port and sent to Enercon Engineers for evaluation for rapid troubleshooting. Packagers can also take a snapshot of operating data at any time which can be used by the Enercon support team to validate settings.

Expanded Network Options for Remote Control and Monitoring

With demand for Industry 4.0 equipment on the rise Enercon engineers have expanded the system’s compatibility with virtually any network protocols. Remote control and monitoring of all available system data is now available.

In-field Software Updates Reduce Downtime and Enables Future Upgrades

In the event a software update is needed, Enercon can send a file to packagers who can upload the new software through the USB port. No boards to replace and no need to remove the sealer cover. This also means future software features can be added in the field.

Compatible with Current Sealing Heads

Enercon customers who would like to upgrade to this new technology will be pleased to learn they can use their current sealing heads with the new system.

Complete Range of Cap Inspection and Container Monitoring

Inspection and detection options may be attach to the sealer for seamless mechanical and electrical integration. Capabilities include foil detection, high cap detection, container back-up and stalled container detection. A rejection system is also available to remove faulty containers from the production line.
