More Digital Capacity, More Flexibility
Digitalabel has added a second HP WS4500 digital press to offer greater capacity and faster turnaround on its labels for customized, short-run, and prototype packaging projects.
“Perhaps digital printing's greatest power is its flexibility,” says John Dowling, general manager of Digitalabel. “You can print 1,000 custom labels and every label can contain different data — complete, variable data printing. Packaged product marketers have awaited the day when they could have so many variations and possibilities available to them. It's a revolution for the printing business.”
The new press accommodates clear film and has nine-color capacity, including opaque whites.
