EFI Partners with Intec Printing Solutions

FOSTER CITY, CA | EFI and Intec Printing Solutions, Dorset, UK, have announced a new partnership with the launch of EFI Fiery digital front end for Intec printers. Based on the newly launched Fiery XF Version 5, the Fiery system will be optionally bundled with the Intec range of digital color printers, extending the range of Intec print systems said to offer users new and improved workflow capabilities with color and quality enhancements.
The combination of the Fiery digital front end and color management workflow and Intec’s range of digital color printing solutions is said to ensure users receive a unique print solution offering razor sharp imaging and exact color through a fully customizable user interface and workflow onto a broad spectrum of media creating a total “out of the box” experience.
Intec printers print onto substrates to 600 gsm/micron thick and are said to be suited for a wide range of printing applications including short-run print production, packaging, heavy stock printing, greeting cards, envelope printing, banner, point of sale applications, and more.
The Fiery front end streamlines the entire print production process from job creation to printing through the use of default paper profiles and print verification. A modular software architecture allows users to add advanced color functionalities such as the Color Verifier and Color Profiler Option.
